Resident Touchpoints to Increase Performance


Most landlords see the financial need to implement strategies to market and screen in order to fill a vacancy. However, it is important that you also continue to implement proactive strategies AFTER the resident moves in, that will increase the odds that the resident will perform well during the rental term. What we mostly do as landlords, is react and respond only when there is a problem with our residents or our properties. When we do not hear from our residents, we simply let things be and “hope” that they will pay us on time, hope they will take care of the place and hope that the residents decide to stay for an additional year, or two, if we are lucky.
